Remember how I said I was planning to release chapter 2 of TSL this summer?

Ha ha... (looks at the 7k words for River's route preview alone) yeah... that was a nice idea while it lasted. While all the art assets are coming along very nicely there's a lot of writing that still needs doing, and if I'm taking into account programming, editing, playtesting, and editing some more with playtester feedback there's just no way it'll be done in time.

So: as a heads-up, Chapter 2 will not come out this summer. Hoping for this fall, though! Thank you to everyone for your patience ❤️

Now that that's out of the way, onto the log!

The final bits of the achievement GUI backend have been cleaned up, edited, and adjusted. There's a few achievements left that still need filling in for Chapter 2; once the script is finalised those will be programmed in too.

Adjusting those sprite files I mentioned in the last devlog is finished, too! Woo! They're all re-programmed into Chapter 1 with their new and correct positions as well.

And I'm on what looks to be the last background I'll need for Chapter 2! There were far fewer this time around, thank goodness, and hopefully no additional scenes will require any more of them.
