After striking up conversation with a wandering terrifying mercenary in a remote tavern, he's agreed to travel together for a while before you go your separate ways.
That separation is approaching soon. To commemorate your final night together you suggest reading him his fortune; might be useful for the road ahead, right?
Except neither of you are particularly looking forward to saying goodbye...

Honestly? I adore this game as well as the first one. An earnestly written story that makes my heart hurt when I think about it being over. I've been hovering around your work since playing these earlier this year.
In fact, I cannot WAIT to see what else you put out! Resonance in Orbit's demo is already so cool! Excited for your take on a Sci-Fi adventure!!!

I love the dynamic between Azram and the MC. It made me sad and happy at the same time, plus I love the MC's sense of humor! And Azram is gorgeous in both this game and the first. Love him so much!
I rlly rlly enjoyed playing this short, yet fulfilling game, especially since I have played the game "A tavern at night" one or two years ago and was positively suprised to find a sequel of it just now <3
Just one question or rather, a feedback (if you're not already aware of this)
For some people, whether mac or windows edition of the game, the sound - music and all does not seem to work, me included! Of course that isn't exactly tragic but I just thought I'd let you know since that would make the romantic outdoor experience even more enjoyable c:

I might be having issues with the sound because there isnt any music or sound when i boot up the game. Anyone think they can help with my issue? I have it downloaded on my mac if that could help in finding a solution
tbh i am having the same issue and I am playing on my pc (windows) so maybe its just a genuine bug for some people?

Please know that this and A Tavern at Night have been such an absolute delight to play through. There's a comfort that this one in particular gives. It's warm and cozy and Azram is such a wonderful companion. Not to mention that the fortune telling mechanic was lovely! I hope you do more with him in the future!

I don't hear any sound, music in "A Tavern at night : Firelight" PC.
Same thing happened to me when i downloaded it about 200 days ago. I never got it fixed but i did play the game and complete it. Maybe try to redownload it? delete the one you have now then redownload it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of playing A Tavern at Night and A Tavern at Night: Firelight, despite these games being far too short
These games left me wishing that was much more to enjoy.
I do hope more content is developed which expands upon the adventures of these two fascinating characters.
I am certain they could have many more fascinating adventures and tales to tell us by the fireside.

As good as its predecessor! It's really cute, the internationals between them are so fun! I loved it so much! Both are definitely among my favorite VNS!
both games were an absolute joy to play!! Azram is such a beautifully complex character and the banter between the characters is very enjoyable to watch! the art designs, the game has such a warmth to it and it was such an honour playing <3 <3 <3
The glee i felt when i saw that there was a second part must've been funny to watch (though i was the only one to see and experience it). Like the first part it was absolute delight to play, you could see how the characters grew closer by even greater amount of jokes from both sides (tho especially azram) it was nice to learn more about him through the cards and his own tibits and most of all the fact that we now know that we have a future together is quite calming(?) i can't think of a better word for this but the whole thing made me feel quite content so thanks for creating it <3<3<3

I'm having an issue that the sounds and music wont play at all, i went to the settings to see if i could fix the issue but there was nothing wrong with it, i checked my headphones and they work well. I'm curious as to why there isnt any sound, is this how the game is or is it a bug or have i done something wrong? With the sounds and music unavalible for me i dont believe i will play this game at all.
I’m so sorry your sound isn’t working! I’m not sure what’s going on there; while there’s no music in this game there’s ambient background sounds and a good number of SFX. Maybe give it a re-download or try playing it on a different device and see if that works? I’ll look into it on my end as well :)
Holy cow this appeared in my itch reccs, and thank (insert your deity here) it did. A tavern at night was amazing, and this one is so heartwarming. Never will I refuse to cuddle with this man. Thank you so much for this.

Azram is one of those characters that part of me wishes was real, he's so sweet and I've always been a big fan of the "rough exterior but actually has a good heart" trope.
I do hope to see more of this story in the future, I'm pretty invested in it now. I'd definitely like to eventually to see him and the main character settle down in some peaceful homestead. To make it work for people who go the platonic route maybe they could have the option to choose to become roommates.
In any case though, whatever happens to the story or even if this is the last game, I'd say it was pretty good.
